What is Electrolysis?

Permanent Hair Removal

It’s essential for us that our clients understand that electrolysis is the only FDA approved method of permanent hair removal. Each specific follicle is treated using a very fine, flexible probe delivering a small amount of electrical energy. It can treat all skin types and hair color.

To achieve permanent results, a series of treatments over time is necessary resulting in renewed bare beauty, increased confidence and improved self image.

There are 3 methods of electrolysis:

Galvanic - which can also be referred to as the electrolysis method. It uses direct electrical current (DC) to achieve chemical reaction of the hair follicle tissue.

Thermolysis - which is sometimes referred to as high frequency or short wave method. It uses alternating electrical current (AC) to achieve destruction by heating the hair follicle tissue.

The Blend - this method uses both Galvanic and Thermolysis simultaneously or sequentially to achieve destruction of the hair follicle tissue. By applying both methods together, heat is able to speed up the chemical reaction.
